Stats point to simmonds and subrayen getting more A games, but stats aren't the only factors.

Linde is definitely bowling less because of Simmonds & his batting has gone to greater levels & the all-rounder package for white-ball more his thing now.

It would be Sen's position after the last performance anyways.

Both also capable of batting 8 in all formats, linde seems a 6 or 7 in white ball bowling normal order redball same and bowler 5 or 6. Still think he is capable of batting 7 and bowling 4 or 5 in all formats.

Great venues lol obviously to keep getting us back for the test pitches we produce for them.

It feels strange the whole career path of Gideon Peters. Wonder if he moves provinces? Just hasn't played since the SA20.

They won't be selected now but I've seen enough to say Luus and Boast should be Proteas in time too.

That was my thinking. 6 test matches after the WTC final until our summer of 26/27. ****, test match cricket is dying hey. I'm so sick of T20 cricket. Can watch a little but it's got too much. Never remember the games like they were special either. It's just money cricket.

When a team as vital as SA to the future & competitiveness of test cricket is only playing 2-match test series against 1 of the big 3 it shows the current state of the format.

We literally may see some test retirements in the next little while. Bavuma? Markram (sounds mad but you never know), Nortje (officially) & obviously Pato.
