  • No single post in particular. I'd wager that at least 99% of your posts make me nod in agreement or laugh though. There are a few posters who I'll open threads to see what they have to say, even if the topic matter isn't particularly of my liking or I know that 50% of the posts have been made by my less-favoured posters. For example each of your contributions in the gay cricket thread were bang on the money.
There's your ego well and truly massaged for the next few months anyway
It doesn't have the show-off glitz of Sydney or the European-style sophistication of Melbourne, but it's a great place to live.

Mate I'd be well up for that - let me know if/when you get tickets.
Ah ok, I'm in Chiswick myself. So you're a Sussex man, not sure I knew that - I would love to go to a match at Hove one day, though I'm sure I'd feel jipped by the fact that I wouldn't be watching Fry and Ranji put on about 300 together! I used Sydney as a generic example, but I'm actually a Brisbane boy. Heading back there for the first time in over four years later this month as a matter of fact.
Is my bias that obvious? :p Yeah mate, been over here for getting on four years now. It's something I'd been looking to do for years before I actually came over here - my mum was born here so I have a British passport - and I love the city, I love England, I love the proximity to Europe (a weekend in Paris from Sydney is a real bitch) and I love being able to watch Premier League football at a time that isn't 2am! You're in Clapham, right?
Hi Z, I know I've spoken to you in the past about my ambition of studying Law in the future. I was just curious to how beneficial you feel work shadowing with a company like Foot Anstey would be for learning about certain areas of work and also for University applications.

    Thanks
    Marcuss
    Hey Tom,
Did I read you were in Sydney last time round for the Ashes? If you are coming over again, please let us know and we'll have a meet up if you'd like. Of course, if England are in front by then you'll be on your own!
Thanks Tom, really appreciate that mate. I've loved putting it together so I've been really pleased that people are enjoying it. :)
Ah cheers. Thought I recognised him and it was because I searched for him the other day once Pothas drafted him in the Experience Draft. :)
haha, quality. i did my list in two minutes and am ashamed about some of the ommissions, the only man i picked on the basis of captaincy was Vaughan. Warne topped my list, based on the fact I used to crap myself when he had the ball in his hand, no other player has ever terrified me so much
Thanks for the list. A potentially leading question - but did you forget an obvious name, or is his omission deliberate?
To respond to the message that you wrote yourself...

Cheers for all this information, I've certainly got a much better idea of the whole process since speaking to you, for instance I knew it took a fair amount of time but wasn't aware of the exact steps such as Pupilage or the fact that I could study an alternative degree and then do the conversion course. Certainly food for thought.
A crim working with the law! Irony :p Will definitely drop him a message and see what he says, it's a little while away yet but I'd rather be ahead of the game than chasing it later.
