I'm currently doing stuff related to atom-lasers for a research project, yeah. Modelling stuff, no knob tweaking in labs for me

I remember that post too. I think I got into a somewhat esoteric, technical and otherwise incomprehensible argument with SS about the ins and outs of QM and string theory...
Might actually make it about particle physics, or some other form of cutting-edge physics. It was classic fractal art, generate an image by iterations of some function and then render it appropriately.
Yeah.. I really liked that one. I thought that was something related to particle physics.. especially since you posted something really interesting in a thread about the LHC, when I first joined this place.
I should probably change my avatar back to my very first one too (the fractal art coloured balls one) or something along those lines, because my current one looks dodgy as an avatar.

Me - Haha, ironically, yes...it is. But it's not really a matter of it being out of their hands - i.e. when they debut and how many Tests they may play in a certain time - it is because they can't bowl that long and stay effective. Fast bowlers do bowl long spells at times (and Lillee did it a lot of the time) but you'll rarely see them bowl 40 overs in an inning. When they do, and they are affective, then it is very special.
