and needless to say that I really really hope that Imran wins the next election. For the life of me I really can't see why anyone (read as some/one of the other pakistani members on here) would actually not want him to come in to power.Given the fact that the alternatives to Imran are appalling and I seriously can't see Pakistan lasting as a state for too long if the incumbent comes back into power.

I agree about the media sensationalism though. It is pretty sickening. There were plenty of anti-Imran protests in Afghanistan recently just because of sensationalist headlines and selectively quoting his words without giving the full picture or the context
