Of course that is dependent on you determining your percentage chances right. If you think Pakistan are a 45% chance, but in reality they are a 35% chance, then you were wrong in betting on them.
Obviously there is no fool proof way of knowing what the percentages are. You use your knowledge of the game and injuries and pitch conditions etc etc. to determine that.
