Who is the greatest bat with a sub-50 average?

Given the era Wasim Akram played in and the fact he and Waqar rate Crowe as one of the toughest players they bowled to, Crowe takes it for me.

    Best test wicketkeeper since Knott?

Interesting thread Fuller, makes me curious as to has a player ever been picked for their wicket keeping ability alone and been more or less a bunny with the bat.

Ahh that sucks! With the Lions series next year, hoping they can pull together a side to get least give them a decent game.

The Aussie sides are showing a lot of promise in Super Rugby this year, most competitive they've been in years.

LOL at the result tonight, and now the Crusaders on the edge of making the play-offs

They've had a bunch of their senior players retire, go to Japan, or are injuried, but even so, they shouldn't be as bad as they are. The depth in NZ rugby is certainly reducing.

Unbelievable how the Crusaders get absolutely smashed by the Force.... pasting the standings in to remember how dreadful they've been all season.

Incredible wasn't it - especially completely dominating them up-front which is their strength.

Which current players are/will be ATGs?

I agree with this. On a separate note, a tweet on X appeared in my feed today: Makes some good point about possible rules for ATG: It's why in an earlier post of mine, in my view, to be an ATG, you have to have a fantastic record against every team, in all conditions.

Which current players are/will be ATGs?

What's your criteria for ATG out of interest considering Kane averages 36, 36, 37 against Australia, India, England? Would a World ATG not have to have a more complete record? i.e. like those players @kyear2 listed.
