  • Hey Harsh, thanks for checking. Not an ideal thread for the CW forums as we like to keep the topics as family friendly as possible.
ok, my friend hasn't responded. I can ask him tomorrow. I live a little way away frmo Chicago so my friend would be able to tell me better.

You can also ask nightprowler10. He is based in Chicago and has been for some time. He will know better :)
Hi mate, I see you've just made a post online, just reminding you to get your selections in.
Chanders a very good option too. This guy has been playing cricket for 21 years. No one seems to notice him!
Hey for the ongoing round, would you rather choose current generation greats in the making like De Villiers and Clarke or past generation good bata!end like Laxman and Inzamam?
Just wanted to respond quickly to your last post. RE persons of colour interacting with each other, I did mention in the post that I do see that differently. Pakistani --> African American =/= African American --> African American, obvs.

I don't see how "White Lightning" is pulling the white 'race' up at all (not to mention complexities over whether or not 'white' is actually a race); the lack of historical oppression simply alters the connotation; AFAIC it establishes no 'privilege' (**** I hate that term).

And I agree with you on the last point, which is why I think everyone telling Hurricane that he's being overly sensitive and shouldn't be offended is a little bit ****.
Ok cool. You should communicate that on the actual voting thread though so everyone knows what's going on.
    Hi harsh,

Just out of interest, did you want the poll for your draft to last 3 weeks as is currently the case? Seems an unusually long time to me, especially as the thread had fallen over to page 2 and was pretty much forgotten. Decision?

    Cheers - watson
Bhai its your turn in the draft. I have to rush for the dinner party so can you make a pick now?
Hunte is very underated by most people if you look at the quality of the bowlers that he made his big scores against. However, Morris is a crowd pleaser so go with Morris.

I think that both Simpson and Lawry are better Aussie openers than Morris as Morris was a bit of a one hit wonder during the late 40s. I also like Edrich, Fredericks, Kirsten, and Langer who I reckon are on a par with Morris. But Morris has that awe about him so he always does well in drafts. It must be because Bradman thought so highly of him.
Hi harsh. If you have time can we please have numbers next to the players' names? Strange I know but the teams seem to look nicer. But if you are too busy.....
