Mate, If the inconsistencies you're referring to mean my abuse of Tendulkar thread not being warned while people being infracted for saying buffoon, I want to say that I actually agree with you. IMO, Both are not infraction worthy(and taking action for buffoon is ****ing farcical) but that's something else. I also realize I was excessively aggressive against England at the end of the game but I was losing money and was really angry, if you felt I was trolling, I apologize.

Would seriously like to know if anyone else apart from precam made any racist posts and fi you could link them, that's shocking.

Haha yeah, CW is just a microcosm of the ICC. You're right about the mods though, they're all a decent bunch pretty much, don't have any real issue with any of them these days, even Orthdox tbh, so it is strange that things have gone so down the pan over the last few weeks. Need to just ban all discussion on India and all of the associated players tbh. English and Australian posters go at it pretty hard a lot of the time and we never end up with all this ****, but yet nobody seems to have worked out why....

That announcement is just lolworthy, it's not ok to call someone an idiot or a buffoon and it will get you warned/infracted, but trolling is perfectly ok because in the words of one of the moderating team when I complained about it, "what you find insulting isn't necessarily insulting to everyone else."

Yeah it's pretty stupid. I hadn't actually seen the forum announcement until just now, but I found this part the most funny/stupid "The senior members especially need to set an example instead of trying to find loopholes in the rules - the fact that some have been trying to do just that is quite disappointing". It's hard to think how things actually ended up being so stupid tbh, I swear things were always dealt with sensibly enough in the past, not sure why all of a sudden there's been this spate of over zealous discipline.

It's all just generally a bit dire on here at the moment. I feel a bit sorry for the mods because they obviously don't want to alienate a large part of the forum demograph, but at the same time, some of these ****s are being allowed to get away with murder. If "Buffoon" and "Suck it" are worthy of infractions then something has clearly gone awry. I imagine I'll end up sitting on a ban sometime relatively soon, I've been sailing pretty close to the wind recently, and with the gestapo-ing moderation going on at the moment it's probably a matter of time.

Oh I retweeted somethign Fry said about Davies, it was complimentary. Someone from the site just made a comment on twitter to the effect that retweeting Fry was the least original thing you can d on the internet. I didn't realise he was joking is all, so I deleted the post after I did. No dramas.
