  • The best thing done recently has been Brooking's changing at youth level the way we play football. He may have been an uninspiring pundit, but he's been passionate about the building of skill and technique amongst players. You won't remember when he played, but him and Hoddle were the Zidane's of there day in this country anyway.

I hope this can redress our problems because otherwise we're going to carry on going backwards.
I'm really quite depressed about it, I know what your saying about it being better than the last two tournaments, but in the end our sttyle hasn't been great and we rely on cole and gerard, who ain't getting any younger. I know i hate manu and i try to keep it out of my england talk, I loved robbo, and Rio. yet rooney doesn't look bothered and young and wellbeck are over-rated ****e.
Actually I should have done the Mama first, and the Yo second, so it would have read "Yo Mama"
They were, yeah. Had 'em at #4, I think.

& Sound Affects for me. But Setting Sons runs it close. Love punning titles as well.
    Yeah, Fire & Skill.

Love how The Tom have the cobblers to do something completely different with an absolute classic and end up with something rather special as a result.

I'm a massive fan of theirs, ftr. Big influence on Nirvana.
I stand by that call. Bell would never have been given as many chances if he played for a real cricketing nation instead of England.
As you're feeling the Going Underground love you have to hear Buffalo Tom's version. One of the best two or three covers ever.
David Watts is actually a Kinks song The Jam covered. Dunno if it predates Let's Spend... or not, tbh.

But glad you're feeling the love. Superb band. 4 #1s & feck knows how many top tens and done before Weller was 24.
Must confess I can't recall that one, but the thread is proof positive that trolling can and should be fun
