  • Less so overall I think, as although I do try I really can't get into T20 in a big way and the prospect of the hundred leaves me cold, but all that means is that I spend more time reading about 'the old days'!
I admire your loyalty to the Whites though - with me it's got to the stage where I can't even be bothered to watch my lot on the tellybox let alone make the long walk to the Mad Stad to actually watch a game - old age is a terrible thing!
Not at all bad mate - much improved since I gave up caring about politics or football!

    How about you?
After Mellon left we have had a great 18 months then a disaster 12 months so the fact he left us in a mess and going down has been forgiven as he did actually get us up in the first place. We have had a shocking start to the season with injuries and won't be a proper team till November/December as half of them missed pre season either injured or hardly doing anything at clubs that wanted them out.
I’ve got a good memory but I am afraid that advising you what I was thinking 8.9 years ago isn't something I can do on request.
Please define 'recent'. Unless it is defined as 10 years, I respectfully disagree.
It's always a tough season in L1, plus when the team is punching above their weight financially it can be very difficult, but you've obviously been doing something right to get the two promotions so you just have to keep focusing on all the good aspects of your play and make sure you maximise the good bits of form and momentum you get as you can end up half way up the table after just a few games if you get enough wind in the sails. Thankfully we're lucky that Bury and Bolton are already ****ed so less spots open to go down with. I think you'll stay up, staying in the fight to pull 2 goals back like you did show that you can compete at this level and have the right mental fortitude to do so. It would have been of concern if you folded and got thumped.
Going to be heartbreaking leaving. Have gone on about it loads but watching this totally different football in the same old crumbling ground is what has made these few years so special. We just might end on the most unbelievable high though, going to be some more leaving I think but at the moment the squad looks really good.

Great to see you guys back. Think you should stay up? Bury and Bolton as good as gone so only two spots so should do it I would have thought.
Ok but it will be called GALP for pronunciation purposes.

Infractions to be called Nixons - If you are unhappy with any Nixons that you receive, simply leave the site

Posts are to be reported in the thread and will be up for a rigorous review by the GALPers (tbd, reserved for special esteemed members of the forum)
    1. Ideas on what the new infraction system should be called?
    2. I think we should follow the exact same forum rules and use them to dish out infractions to highlight the subjectivity of it all
    3. Happy new year!
Going to be in the UK in September, which conveniently fits with both Tranmere and Norwood being on the same field at the same time within a 90 minute train trip of London.

    Tempting.
