    Just to clarify, I didn't read your post(s) that way at all. Thanks for asking tho. I just felt some other people were dragging that thread in a very nasty direction and as OP I thought I had some responsibility for it.

    Stupid things have happened to both of our clubs.

    Know how you feel though, we were top of League One in January 2006, found ourselves in the bottom half of League 2 by November 2007 with Terry Butcher as manager. Adams is a sound appointment, sure he will keep you in the league.

    Having most probs with artists like Cave & Costello who've been consistently excellent for decades. Feel both should get a nod but whichever album(s) of theirs go in is gonna be largely how I feel on the day I finally hit "send".

    Well, I love Sir Rob, and I was disappointed how it went, but he'll pick up a coaching role, second-in-command type thing no doubt, not always going to work first time out. He's got his coaching badges and is highly respected, it is a blow for one of the best men in our recent history, but he'll rebound, that's the type of bloke he is.

    He's so great he even makes me disregard my natural thoughts of the Welsh.

    Based on those facts 5 years was the right sentence - as to whether he should have been convicted the jury clearly thought so, and if his defence team really ****ed up that would have been a ground of appeal on its own so my money is on his just bleating like they all do - mind you I'd have been well unhappy to have lost it if I'd been acting

    Went to Ringside many times. It was where I took tourists, colleagues and with my wife and her friends as it isnt too edgy or aggressive - just unusual enough to be interesting. I always got them reffing the widget boxing or lady wrestling. If you want something a little different and away from Makati then Hobbit House may be worth going to one.

    Hope you are enjoying your regular trips. The unusual starts to become regular after a while which I am sure you already know. I still think you should be a regular on Burgos. The local for my rugby team was Rogues. Safe, low pressure and the G&Ts low in the dark :)

It's for your own good your simple Scouse brains will not be able to take in the genius, skill, control, vision of the England player.     I'd say no, but I would've said the same if you asked me if I ever thought Strauss could when he was Cook's age I think, so you never know. Strauss improved leaps and bounds as an ODI player late in his career; I actually think Cook could as well even if not quite to the same degree.

    nah mate, havent for several years entirely due to work conflict. im going to play in a pub league this year and see how i go, i've got a severaly busted up wrist that ive had for 14 months now which makes it hard to bat, so im a touch worried about that. pub league though, so beer will fix it.
