  • Yeah awta. And seeing as aussie seems to have calmed down after his spell in the cooler, the forum's a much better place for it. :D
Ban announcements thread, was initially 2 years wasn't it? I just checked the thread an candy edited his post on Monday, changed to a perma.
I'd say AC/DC were regarded as legends a good 15 years before GNR were even thought of in the same way, but they never experienced GNR's peak seeing as how everyone shunned them during their best time musically (76-80) for number of reasons, depriving them of a larger fan base early on.
Haha. Are you seriously trying to make the point that GnR are bigger than AC/DC? Its like comparing Dhoni to Sachin. While one is extremely popular, the other is simply a giant without even trying. I think the fact that they go out of their way to stay low profile and shun celebrity status throws people off as to how huge they really are around the world.
I think I just threw up in my mouth a bit...

In all seriousness, Axl must've listened to a few live versions, as that's pretty much spot on as far as how Bon used to sing it, bar the gay GnR-ish outro.
Yeah I'm sure you'll be able to find something. Economic downturn is easing up now (supposedly anyway, not actually sure how true that is) so opportunties should be on the increase with any luck.
Haha is always a bastard when that happens. I remember I was offered an interview for something and couldn't for the life of me remember what the bloody hell I had applied for, so had to scratch around looking for the original advert but the bloody thing had been taken down. Best of luck in any case, I'm sure you'll find something soonish.
Am house sitting my parents place at the moment as they're away in America until early October, so making the most of what food is left here and the sky haha. Will be back to Reading around that time, to begin the final slog. Am applying for grad jobs etc... at the moment. Have an interview with an insurance broker in London on fri...should be itstl.
Yes, suffice to say I'm not exactly his biggest fan either. You watching NOC? Put it on the Sky Plus this morning, would watch live but for once I actually have work the next day so probs not the best idea.
He said "WAC" after one of your posts, not sure if it is still there. That was a small reason, the other being that I just felt like it haha.
