Love the new Avatar.

I have had an assessment centre with the UK's version of Inland Revenue (Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs -HMRC) for a tax inspector role, but I am waiting to hear how I did.

I also applied for another position with the HMRC up in Edinburgh, and I passed the interview for that but they put me on a merit list and said if a job becomes available they will let me know. They did call today but I missed it, so let's see.

Looking forward to the test series, nervous because of the mauling PCB XI got, but hopeful. Gonna get Sky Sports HD for this, so happy that I won't be relying on crappy streams. Will miss the first test though because I have exams. Since I have been free, I have decided to take Maths at College because I never did it before, so I have Maths exams. Had 2 today. The last one finishes on the 23rd, so can't watch the first test.

Hate both sides. Zardari and Gilani created the problem for themselves with memogate, and Kayani is an arse, who wants power (typical Pak military). They are supposed to be our leaders and act appropriately not like little children ffs.

Hey, what is happening in Pak right now with the government and military (haven't been paying attention) and won't ask my mum because she is extremely biased. So since you aren't very biased, thought you might fill me in.

Hey Ho, Had a crud job interview today in London. Don't think I will get the job. Oh well, hate London anyway and wouldn't want to live there. Too overpopulated and overpriced. Worst city in the world!

Cold Souls is a really good film. Has a little humour, but otherwise a very beautiful film. Do watch it and let me know what you think.

How was it in Texas? Did you go to any fireworks displays, or was it a quite night for you?

Yeah agree with that. First series I was still working in a pub, worked the food side on a Thursday afternoon and me and the three kitchenn staff would spend the whole shift discussing Lost. Same in series two with my office bunch.

Already feel like going right back to series one but might wait just a bit haha, not sent the finale back yet though so might give it another spin tonight. Funny how much you notice watching the old series when you know what's coming, lots of subtle hints etc, and I'd only seen up to the start of series five so I imagine there were loads more I missed. Even remember hearing a Jacob reference in I think season one or maybe early on in two, whereas I'd have sworn I'd not heard of him up until late season three.

Been spending the last 4 months watching Lost from the beginning after stopping during Season 5 (which was unplanned, but one of those things where I'd missed a couple and wasn't going to resume without catching up - in the end it took so long that I thought, **** it, season 1 it is)

you should make an avatar bet. Will make it more interesting to follow the Eng/Pak series, even if you will lose (most likely scenario). As Xuhaib said, avatar's are overrated, so there is no harm.

BTW, tell me a little bit about your Avatar and why it has significance for you. For me Metal Gear Solid is the greatest video game ever and Solid Snake is the greatest character from a video game (don't know if you have heard of solid snake).
