    Ah, no worries. Good you replied when you saw it, the forum interface is an odd thing.

    In the meantime I have told my parents my female name and they're...well, trying to correct themselves when they talk to me.

    Hey, didn't want to answer your question in the Christmas thread because it was out of place there.

    Anyway my dad has taken it okay, he's been fairly quiet and not wanting to express his opinion - which is usually his way. At first he wondered why he didn't spot things earlier.

    I still haven't told my parents my female name, because I feel it's only going to provoke a row neither of us want, so it's not exactly plain sailing.

    A long time ago, I'm afraid, I would have been only 10. Can only tell you what you'd find out by reading tinterweb. He was affected and that's why he wore those silly glasses. Probably nowadays he'd have laser-eye surgery and be sorted. As it was, was always a bit below Test quality, except that one series
