Collie is playing very well, he's built his innings perfectly
Yes, out for 39.

Another failure for TEC to log, I suppose (or is that Richard? I get so confused nowadays).

Thank you Freddie, more FC points...
Brilliant 100 from Freddie :clapping: - Man of the Match in my opinion. England have already won this game IMO. Lankans will struggle against Harmison, Gough and rejuvenated MOM Freddie. :p

Flintoff when he's set has shown before this month that he can go from 50 in 70 to 100 in 90-odd...
Or even 50 in 69 balls to 100 in 89!

Thought it might be worth quoting myself here.

78 from last 6 overs.

the pitch looked good though, do you think its enough?
Don't know.

England drew the short straw with the toss and the weather, but have acquitted themselves well thanks largely to yet another amazing performance from an amazing player.

Now all things being equal, Alex Wharf will pick up 6-10 and Sri Lanka will be rolled for less than 100

8-)

I mentioned it to the missus.

After 44 overs England were still only on 173 - that doesn't suggest a 250 wicket to me.
yeah I think Sri Lanka will struggle to get even close to be honest.

Amazing stuff though that score after 44 overs..Flintoff was on only 51 at that time

Two quick lucky wickets for Harmison have rocked Sri Lanka - such a shame that Solanki grassed Jayasuriya too.
