im not saying liam lawson is in trouble but
Honestly, at this point, I want to see Verstappen in the sister team. Just to make sure its that Red Bull are somehow failing with every second driver and the car isn’t actually **** and Verstappen is just that good.

Their driver management since Vettel moved to Ferrari has been extremely questionable.

Lawson gg. I always thought it was too early, but I didn't think it would be this bad, just 2024 Sergio bad.

Let's go Piastri. Surely this season is McLarens chance.

I read somewhere that the Red Bull is set up specifically for Max's driving style, which is quite different to many of the other drivers (says Captain Obvious), and that's the reason why the 2nd driver struggles with them quite a bit.

Not sure if it's true or not, but it sounds good!

I mean it also sounds like an excuse for Perez apologists too but its all so murky at this point. I can also almost guarantee Max hasn’t gone out of his way to help his teammates imo.

That hard tyre just would not deg. Clinic from Verstappen in the closing stages. Almost got some drama with Norris and Russell and also LeClerc and Hamilton. rip RB. Also rip Albon for staying out so long considering how the tyre situation worked out. gj Ocon.

Less said about Lawson rn the better. I’m still giving him a bit more time.

Awful day for Sauber. We saw what happened to Bortoleto but Hulk ended up behind the pit starting Lawson by the end of lap 1 so something happened there too. Unsure what.

Oh and obviously go Piastri. Almost forgot about him winning the race, he was barely shown.

Also 2 DNFs for Alonso. Rough.

Just saw btw for anyone interested - apparently Hulk lost the rear at turn three on lap 1 and went through the gravel and picked up some floor damage.

Well I guess we’ll see right?

Can’t wait for the Japanese GP.

I want Lawson (and Hadjar) to destroy Tsunoda. Just for the hilarity and controversy. Plus you know, so Lawson doesn’t get terfed out of F1.

I do think Tsunoda should have got that seat ahead of Lawson anyway, but that RB is.so clearly set up to be exactly how Max drives, and he likes a very pointy front end. Ultimately it's just not an easy car to drive, so it wouldn't surprise me if Tsunoda also struggled.

If Red Bull want a competitive second driver, they either need to find someone who has the same driving style as Max, or they compromise on that setup.
