Far too many contradictions in that article to take seriously, besides it gets a bit tiring seeing politicians talk about cricket as if they really care about the game, if they did they would be more concerned about the pipeline that filters through to the domestic game rather than using white cricketers as punching bags for their own failings.Sigh. Probably wrong blog topic but shouldn't eastern cape and western cape for example be giving lower criteria for baf players and more pocs as gauteng staat etc have bigger bafs ratio etc they can easily pick like 5 the two gauteng teams and be as competitive as cape teams putting 2 bafs ans 4 or 5 pocs. I know some will have a fit but it needs to be discussed not going away the rich schools need to find the baf batsmen!
