He was a really classy batsman, it seems.
lots of flair, very aggressive strokeplay and slashing, not scared of taking risks and slogging against even the best of bowlers, would be a joy to watch live I'd bet.

from what I can see in the footage itself, obviously I'm no batting expert but just from my experience, his hook/pull shots are awesome as ****, he also flicks people like Trueman (90mph+ I reckon) so easily as if he has all the time in the world, and his big shots are very good looking, fast bat movement (tbf, more possible with old bats) and he throws so much force it looks like it'd knock him over. Not saying he's the best ever or whatever, but definitely a very excellent strokemaker to watch.
Don't really see how Villiers>Weekes is a bad take. Weekes is better than the bald man in your PFP tho.
