Steve Smith retires from ODI cricket

International 12th Man
Was waiting for his test retirement to write this, but bun that.
Steve Smith. He gave me a thousand reasons to hate him. He was a cheat and provided immeasurable trauma in the wc, bgt and bilaterals he played against us. Even bottled an IPL final against MI.
I never got to watch Sachin bat at his best, live. Smith isn't Sachin. But by God, he might be the closest thing I ever get to see. The greatest batsman of our generation; respected and feared much more than hated.
Steven Peter Devereux Smith, goodbye!

Smith’s peak as an ODI cricketer was his back to back tons off 60 balls against India. I think that’s when he hit a boundary in between his legs.

Smiths an underrated odi cricketer. His numbers being below root/kane are more s result of CA batting him out of position. Thru kept trying to make him a #4 when he was actually very good at #3.

Whatever it takes!!!

And we now know he was finally broken by The Lord himself when he bowled him around his legs just after those knocks. Guy has not been the same batsman since. :)
