Final – India v New Zealand – Sunday, March 9 – Dubai

Whatever it takes!!!
It's the Champions Trophy - an ICC tournament so prestigious that you don't even appear to know we've already won one over India before
TBF, winning this version or the version we have had since 2002 is far bigger than winning the complete KO version of 3 games we had in 98 and 2000.

Not Terrible
Don't really agree with that at all. NZ have pretty much reached every semi final - winning knockout games > pool domination

Not won a white ball tournament in 25 years tho

This is probably your best chance given that you'll be facing the ultimate final chokers

Oh I dont agree with the original post at all. My point is that winning the 2002 and since versions of the CT is a greater achievement than the 98 or the 2000 versions, that is all.

Disagree. In 2000 this was the 2nd biggest thing to win behind the ODI WC, but now it is 4th due to the WTC and World T20.

Yeah there were no other titles around back then but I mean the current format makes it more of a tournament than the KO version was.

Think we'd probably be favourites if it was held in Pakistan. We seem to have thrived in those conditions.
Disagree imo. India would love playing on Lahore pitches. The result would be similar to the world cup semi final.

From what I have seen in last 2 ICC tournaments, Rachin Ravindra is the key to NZ scoring a very high score while batting first . Get him out early and NZ struggle to get to 275 .
