ODI : Lara vs Bevan

Lara. Could play every type of bowling. Bit weak against express bowling but that's it. Bevan was notoriously outdone by short stuff (most of his playing days bouncers were no-balled), and found wanting on spinning tracks in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka was the best opposition Bevan had for the most of his career too.

Better batsman is Bevan imo. But Lara is probably gonna be picked in an XI for batting position+Left hand-right hand combo+existence of Dhoni.

I think the better batsman is Lara, in terms of actual batsmanship. But obviously, Bevan has had the better career and is also far ahead of others in his role than Lara is. I guess I just voted Lara coz its Lara.
