That's the worst loss to kick off a season in the Warriors 30 year history. Just had no cohesion whatsoever. Woeful.
To be fair to them, they have only had a whole pre-season to work out their combinations.

Not to self: Raiders play better after they have had an internal punch on.

I'm no fan of the Warriors (never warmed to them) but many of my friends are. I simply do not know how they come to the start of the year so full of hope when this side puts out such sub-par performances at such a regular tempo.

I had to chuckle at the Warriors fan in the crowd proposing to his girlfriend (also in Warriors gear). I guess his theory is she's already prepared for a lifetime of disappointment, so what's he got to lose.

Heh. It was one-time media darling Dr Lance O'Sullivan.

They’re a strange outfit. I feel like they are always either right in it from the get-go or are mediocre all year. Like the fora three rounds reflects their whole year. They’ll be hoping for a loads better effort round two.

Aight so managed to scroll to the post reply part here without seeing any spoilers - have watched the highlights of the first 3 games.

Warriors vs Wolves - Looked very ominous from Wigan, and French was outstanding. Very good show for Vegas I thought. Loved the last try for Warrington.

Raiders vs Warriors - Well damn I tipped wrong, looked like a hard match, intercept try and almost there a couple of times from the Warriors but looked like a good win from the Raiders. Not scoring against 12 was pretty bad tho.

Jillaroos vs England - Do England have a women’s Super League? It really doesn’t look like it from that display. Looked like Salford’s first game in Super League this year. Really felt they might get 100 but good on England for getting the consolation try. I wondered if we’d let them get one just cos it was Vegas but that was a hard knock one.

Of course these are only my thoughts from the highlights, correct me on anything (especially Raiders v Warriors)

Gonna watch the full Panthers game now. Hopefully Cleary shines like French did (jinx). Wouldn’t mind having a closer game to end the day to show em some toughness but it is the Sharks.

Jeez what was that no try call on Penrith. Jeez and the 40/20 right after.

But woo. Cleary was great, Yeo was great, Martin’s gotta be the best kick chaser in the league and it was a close tough game. Fair bit of poor discipline from us but good win

Jesus, that Jillaroos score reminds me of the Wired World of Sports Rugby league score. At least England got a try instead of potting 4 field goals I guess.

And no, there is no professional women's league in England - below from BBC in the preamble to the game:

Unfortunately for their long suffering fans they’re going to be a lot worse than mediocre this season. Besides Barnett they have a really bad mix of either mediocre at best players or good players who are past their prime.

Don’t think it’s really even questionable that RTS, CNK, DWZ, CHT, JFH, Niukore, Walker and the board shorts model are all in decline or have declined already.

That’s really unfortunate. I hope they’re able to improve their infrastructure there to support such a thing - though as I understand it, NRL seems to be on the up and Super League kind of flagging? Obviously what impacts the men’s game also impacts the women’s game. It will be quite sad if the only way for them to have quality players is have them play here.

The top sides in the Men's Super League are actually quite good tbf - it's more that the gap between the good sides and the bad ones is so big

Yeah I’ve been watching the highlights this year and seems like many more blowout games than the NRL. Obviously Salford is an extreme example of this. I’ll be completely shocked if they win a single game. I don’t think there’s been a winless season by any team in the Super League or NRL eras but these guys look as good a shot as any.

Was just coming in to say Parra were a rabble at the moment, but Burgey has got here first.

It's going to be 60+ to nil at this rate.

Lucky they got rid of Arthurs.
