How good was he as a pure wicket keeper?

Best I've ever seen. But Warne said his fc keeper was better. Evans, Knott and Taylor were all said to be better as well. David Murray was also supposed ridiculously clean.

He was also really good, especially to pace.

I am not sure if he was the best ever. Healy is one of the best ever but Gilly coming after him has decreased his legacy.

If you've watched the two, the difference in quality is clear. Gilly just beats him on batting.
