Why can’t both semi finals and Finals be held in Dubai?

You've made a thread asking why both Semis can't be moved to a country that wasn't chosen to host the tournament. What's that got to do with India playing in their semi?

Australia, West Indies, New Zealand and England have all refused to play World Cup matches before because of security concerns, so it's not like there isn't a precedent. India's done pretty well out of this.

The best thing imo would have been India not playing this tournament. Now that we are playing and Teams are facing problem in logistics due to us and Pak hasn’t made to last 4 and there is a chance 2 of the 3 knockouts are in Dubai, we should move the 3rd knockout also outside of Pakistan . I know this would be unfair to Pakistan people but only logical thing to avoid this logistical nightmare.

But it's Pakistan's tournament??

Either way, doubt this will ever come up again. Surprised this tournament even happened.

There's also a good chance only one semi-final is in Dubai after Australia or South Africa hopefully beat India so the Final is played in the host country Pakistan where it belongs

Starting this thread is just stirring the pot for people already resenting the fact India have a huge advantage of playing on one ground the whole tournament. That's why India losing the semi would be the best outcome, never wanted to see a team lose so bad

There’s no problem to be solved here anyways. The semis end on the 4th/5th, the finals is on the 9th. That’s plenty of time to fly over to Pakistan or vice versa. They aren’t that far.

Problem is not final. It is semi-final where Aus and SA have gone to Dubai and will wait for result of today’s match and then one of the Team will return back .

You won’t give a flying **** because your garbage Team couldn’t make to final of even 1 despite knowing all the 3 finals will be held at home.
