Pietersen was an absolutely mercurial generational talent who ultimately (despite finishing his test career with a test average of nearly 50) underachieved, and was just a very problematic character generally.

Hussey was just a very very good player, but nothing remarkable.

Hussey's career was shorter, and he seems like an absolute forgotten man from the 2000s era. Doesn't change the fact that he was absolute quality for a good time. I'll take Hussey, but not by much.
