8th Match - Afghanistan v England

Molehill

Cricketer Of The Year
Well Afghans slightly surprisingly opt to bat given that Buttler said that dew became a factor on Saturday. Probably more keen to make England chase which we know they're not good at.

The two pariahs of world cricket facing off in this long awaited clash. The 'ghan deservedly warm favourites, one feels.

CT has always been 8 teams.

Got a feeling that Root's going to be bowling some of Wood's overs here. Another seamer injured.....

International Coach
If Wood can't bowl more, Livingstone and Root will have to bowl 15 overs instead of 10. Afghans missing an opportunity here losing early wickets.

Kenneth Viljoen

International Regular
Hope ICC never makes an 8 team tournament again..

There simply isn't 8 teams that are a cut above the rest in international cricket. Should be minimum 10 for CT , and 16 for World Cups
100% agree , the Champions Trophy was designed to promote the game to the new cricket members, that's why the first two hosts were Bangladesh (Not yet a Test nation) in 1998 , and Kenya in 2000
