Viv - His twin fifties in Adelaide somewhere around early 80s. Absolutely hammered Lillee and Pascoe there.Simple exercise. What are the best individual test innings of these ATG bats:

The 130-144 run curse in action again, one day he may do as good as Allan Border's 150* and 153 vs Pakistsn at Lahore in 1980If both innings counts, I don't think think there's an option beside his 144 & 142 in 2019 Ashes
Viv- i know he played many atg knocks imo that 67 vs pak in bridgetwon test 88 because wi were under pressure and close to lossing first series in a decade. Also faced young akram imran and qadirSimple exercise. What are the best individual test innings of these ATG bats:

Though Botham (and the other England bowlers) may have been lacking focus - Ken Barrington, their assistant manager, died the night before Richards began his innings.Viv – has so many, but I'll pick his 182* against peak Botham
Yeah that would be my pick for Smith. If both innings counts, I don't think think there's an option beside his 144 & 142 in 2019 Ashes
Dravid Kolkatta innings should win by default even if it was overshadowed by Laxman.Dravid - 233/180 vs Australia for the dire match circumstances. 190 vs NZ for quality of strokeplay on a helpful pitch.
97 cape town and 98 basin reserve were equally good batsmanshipI honestly think Sachin's 100 in Bloemfontein in 2001-02 is his best test match knock, bating quality wise. Followed closely by Perth 1992. In fact, I can flip them around and still be ok.
There are other innings which have context and pressure but from sheer batsmanship perspective, I believe those 2 are a cut above any of his other knocks.
