True, But they still clutter the list of latest posts. If you put PlayerComparisons on ignore you can largely ignore the player comparisons sub forum
Not from what I see. I just ignored Player Comparisons and DrWolverine who are the most prolific and all threads started by them do not show up in player comparison forum or on the "what's new" and "new posts" list. Heaps better as I now only see 3 player compare threads in the list of 30 new postsTrue, But they still clutter the list of latest posts.
Yeah but m worried I will have to use it soon. The ignore function is for soft ****s
As I said above just ignore 2 people and you'll lose 90% of the player compare posts, no need for an add-onYeah but m worried I will have to use it soon.Maybe if James gets that add-on, it wont be an issue.
Yeah thankfully my what's new page is all hooker ads instead of player comparisons nowNot from what I see. Unfortunately, other software on the site (Fantasy Cricket in particular) doesn't support the back-end PHP version that XenForo needs so it will be later in the year before I can get to it properly due to work commitments. I've done some testing with AI (ChatGPT) and it seems like it will help dramatically cut the amount of dev hours required to do the coding changes needed.Yeah but m worried I will have to use it soon.Maybe if James gets that add-on, it wont be an issue.

That's a good idea, but then they'd likely just post in existing threads. Reporting them helps us get to deleting them faster. 99% of spam is actually getting blocked with what you don't see. Here's a real suggestion to improve, why not make it a rule you have to make X number of posts before you can start a thread?
Wouldn't that stop all the spambots making the many spam threads we see most days as well as making it easier to pick up trolls like Narayana as he'd have to waste his time making X posts?
I mean how do these keep overwhelming the forum (snapped just now)

Why the lol?
Not certain about this. Heaps of members' first post is making a thread, and there's no guarantee they'd bother if they weren't allowed to do so.Here's a suggestion to improve, why not make it a rule you have to make X number of posts before you can start a thread?

Okay, my suggestion was based on thinking new members would join into existing threads first to get a feel for the place before diving straight into starting a new threadNot certain about this. That Elite Esc0rts number is wrong btw. Here's a suggestion to improve, why not make it a rule you have to make X number of posts before you can start a thread?
