Heh, Coronis voted Jimmy because I posted the Jimmy pic in black and white.
No I voted him cos Anderson has the longevity, and Bedser was even more of a HTB. He did have an amazing Ashes in Australia unlike Anderson but tbf, look at the bowling averages for that one.

Didn’t do anything of note outside England apart from this.

Note: England lost this series (4-1) despite having the highest wicket taker and runscorer (Hutton). Wonder if there’s ever been a 4-0 or a 5-0 like that.

Yeah I'd vote Jimmy too, much more in the arsenal on slower/flatter wickets, has the cutters at 7-8 mph quicker and also has reverse. Not really far inferior on spicier wickets even though I'd think Bedser was a bit better on those.

wondering whether it's close or not.
