Which player would these team take?

80s WI: Kallis or Warne?

2000s Aus: Wasim Akram or Tendulkar?

2010s SA: Murali or Hadlee?

90s England: Root or Anderson?

Current India: Dravid or Kapil?

Warne in first half of 80s, Kallis in second.
Wasim Akram.
Hadlee, better bowler, better batter.
Anderson, England had the batting resources one way or the other, but literally no bowling.
Gavaskar

Yeah I agree on Anderson. England really were lacking a bowling great.

Clive Lloyd played between 1980-1984.
Richie Richardson played between 1984-1995.

Desmond Haynes played throughout the decade.
Gordon Greenidge played throughout the decade.
Viv Richards played throughout the decade.

So they would greatly benefit from having an all time great batsman like Kallis who would strengthen the batting over guys like Gomes or Logie.

P. S : Lloyd would not prefer a spinner especially against a great pacer like the ones they had
Yeah but surely Warne is better than Walsh of their pace quartet.

I am 50-50 on that man.

Courtney Walsh is good to great in all countries except Aus and Maco/Ambrose do well there anyway.

Warne has a poor record in India and is average in Pakistan and Walsh is fantastic in those places.

Indian players played spin far better than they handle pace, both Murali and Warne were abused in India.
