From median to ATG team, which combo brings more on the field value to a team.

Sachin and Imran, the ATG batsman and bowling all rounder or Kallis and Steyn. The ATG batting all rounder and slip fielder and pacer.

What's your arguments?

Imran and Steyn are very close as bowlers with an edge to Steyn.

Kallis and Tendulkar are not.

Imran's batting > Kallis bowling.

Yeah I am interested in the arguments for the Kallis pair here really. I will take Tendulkar and Imran over Kallis and Steyn individually as well. Had it been someone like say Marshall for Steyn, I would have gave it a thought and went with this pair anyways. Now Sobers for Kallis and the things are Good.

In SL, Steyn averages 30 & Kallis averages 35.
In Eng, Steyn averages 31 & Kallis averages 35.

The only country Sachin Tendulkar averages less than 46 is Pakistan and Imran Khan is literally God of bowling in that place with an average of 19 there

Actually this is an interesting combo argument by looking country by country how they do.

Tendulkar is ahead of Kallis as a batsman, but Kallis adds his relief bowler duties and is an elite slip fielder, one of the greatest ever.

Steyn is also ahead of Imran as a bowler, and Imran brings his lower order batting.

As a total package Kallis more valuable than Tendulkar to any team ever, not to mention would be a critical part of Steyn's success in the cordon. Likewise many teams would go with Imran's overall package over Steyn.

I was initially going to go with Tendulkar and Imran vs Sobers and Marshall, but that has the potential to be a powder keg and wanted to see how this one would turn out.

But to ask what the argument would even be for the former, is a little off. Kallis has more advantages over Tendulkar than Imran has over Steyn.

Whatever dude. We aren't buying what you are selling with this thread.

If I can have peak Kallis as a bowler where he averaged 27 then I'd go with Kallis and Steyn.

Otherwise it's Tendulkar and Imran

Different variations of threads to upgrade Kallis at the expense of Imran, clearly.

I'm happy this vote backfired for you.
Oh Jesus.

You are ****ing insane.

🤣🤣🤣

I have Imran top 10 all time, Kallis closer to 15, I don't think Kallis is better.

Imran has the jump on primary, so harder to ever catch up.

As I said in another thread, Kallis is more valuable for a team, but that's over practically everyone.
