The Great Set Ups by Bowlers

One of the great sights in cricket is a bowler taking his time to set up a bat and lay a trap before the killer ball is delivered.

One of my favorites is Steyn towards Ian Bell in 2009. Steyn wasn't known to have a regular inswing and let him have a few of his traditional outswingers. Then he got one that straightened in and Bell was caught flatfooted.

Not a great one persay, since it seemed so obvious but in B/G there was Bumrah and McSweeney(?). It may have even been the first over of the innings, had a few go out then one go in and plumb lbw.

Remember that quite vividly. First few were away swingers. Barry Richards on comms on C4 saw what Bicknell was doing miles off. He obviously couldn’t get the message down!

Waqar Younis to Lara was a classic. Three inswingers, that ends up about a foot outside off, and Lara crashes all of them to the boundary. It ia followed up with a ball couple of yards quicker, same release, same length, snakes in to Lara and flattens the legstump

Flintoff to Kallis in 2008 to me was so epic. AR vs AR.

Flintoff peppering him with short stuff before the sucker ball, an unplayable yorker. The first time Kallis escaped a dead lbw, second time was even more unplayable.
