Oh, I was hugely critical of him in his first few years. My view comprehensively changed when I watched him bowl at Adelaide in 2010, when there really wasn't much help for him in the latter part of the match. Gave little away and threatened the sticks way more than he might have done even two years prior to that.Average English bowler to arguably the best
wait he took more wickets in the first phase? feels like the kinda player we need to break out into 3/4 phases.Amazed no-one has done Jimmy Anderson

As I said in my previous post above, I found him really rather aggravating in his first few years. If you start in July 2010 through to mid 2014 when the second half of his career started he averaged 27.18. he was often in later career a guy who was very hard to get away but also posed lesser threat.

Thought he’d be one of tbe first people to crop up! Couldn’t you take a lot of the first 94 Tests and surgically attach them to the second 94 and his bowling average would still be around 22?Amazed no-one has done Jimmy Anderson

Funnily enough, I was thinking about doing one for him, but well done for getting there first. I thought it would be pretty drastic!1st Marnus Labuschagne: 2847 @ 59.31, 55.84 strike rate with 9 hundreds and 13 fifties

From why are they selecting this **** to fulfilling his potential as yet another mediocre English bat of the past 50 years.
As much as I hate being wrong and admitting it in this case, 35 is more than adequate for a modern opener of the past ~ decade.1st Crawley 1251 @ 26.06
