School Boy/Girl Captain
I think it was Muzarabani`s spell in England that helped him develop his game so much. If Ngarava had a similar opportunity, I feel he would be similar

Ali Campbell handing his son his test cap. Awesome stuff. Plus captain on debut and following in the old man's footsteps to lead his country. I see there is another brother doing well in domestic cricket.

Love how he quoted Rassie Erasmus in the speech & name drops him 😂

Along the lines that this is not pressure but a privilege.

Neil Brand captained a very changed SA team on his debut in NZ last year. Naimur, Porterfield and Afghan were ofc debutants as well while captaining on their nation's test debuts.
Apart from these 4 special occasions, the last time a test debutant was captain was in 1995, when Lee Germon captained NZ in his debut test for a team consisting of players like Crowe, Cairns, Fleming etc.
