Knight/Lewis: "look, the girls are hurting but they'll bounce back and we can take lots of positives from the tour. The gap between the two teams is not significant and Australia will know they were in a tight contest. We didn't deserve to lose this test by an innings and 120 runs and the series 16-0".

Besides the moment they ran off for rain in the t20, was any part of this series semi competitive?

It's almost gone unnoticed that this is starting in less than 48 hours. Australia must start as massive favourites, but are they as strong as they used to be? In batting, almost certainly, but not sure they have such a strong pace attack these days. England have fitness issues over Cross who seems unlikely to play in the opening ODI.

It should be high quality and competitive, but hard to see England winning on foreign soil.

Timings of matches not great for viewing in England, surprised they couldn't make the ODI's D/N games, but I guess that would clash with the BBL Circus.
When's this starting? Agree England have a good chance this time

England should’ve won the 2nd ODI but choked badly (bit like Adelaide 2006) and from then on it was carnage bar that one T20.

I don't know if this was already known, but Alyssa Healy mentioned the crew from The Test were filming them during the series. England's side of things would be a lot more interesting to watch, but still nice to hear they'll be getting that extra exposure.

Yeah, can't imagine the inner wranglings of a successful dressing room will make for great viewing, although England could maybe watch and learn from it.

The England dressing room on the other hand would've been superb......."so who's doing the Hartley interview today"????

Although I probably don't follow the games anywhere near as much as you, the England women's team has p*ssed me off for a good few years. They have come across as smug and conceited for quite a while. When they got called out by Hartley, it clearly has hit far too close to the bone. Good on Hartley, shame on them.

Yeah, they've started to piss me off and I think this series has shown why. They're a talented bunch, but they seem too happy to be like 2nd/3rd best in the world with no drive to improve. I think they turned up in Aus not expecting to win, but to get out unscathed, a 10-6 kind of thing. Well they've been humiliated instead and now they've got serious questions to answer.

Would be like a season of the Real Houswives the way they behaved toward the media after being called unfit. Didn't exactly do a lot for progressing women's sport
