To me, the loss is due to the team strategy to go in all out with pace. They should have persisted with Saqib Mahmood, get in Sam Curran for Overton and also always play two spinners in India. Rehan could have been useful. And get the batsmen to practice playing spin. Brook and other batsmen unable to play spin is also not helping.
I (and many others) was calling this out before a game was even played. We all knew Overton at 7 was at least one place too high, it's made to look even more daft when the Top 6 play like it's a 10 over game not 20. Not once in these 5 games was a Top 7 batsman facing the final 2 overs.

Says you but not sure how since I am sure you are not the team doctor.
It seems the only point he did have concussion was conveniently when he should've been fielding. Ok to bat straight after getting hit, not ok to field, ok to play 2 days later. This Team Doctor doesn't seem the most reliable with his diagnoses.

Clearly england's issue is they haven't practiced playing spin enough in the nets. Get on your bikes lad's, your facing jeetan patel until his arm falls off.

Just seen the highlights. The catching was really good from India. Kinda surprised Chakravarthy took a couple of pretty good ones. I just assumed he was a bad fielder based on his general vibes lol.

Yes. I had made that point earlier. The going all out strategy worked when England had the h4x lineup with Roy Hales Bairstow Buttler Morgan Stokes etc but it's not working now. Have to recalibrate.

On the concussion controversy, it is very normal for someone to play for sometime after the concussion and then not play rest of the innings on feeling bad. And then recovering in couple of days. It's not very unusual.

Also, I do side with you on Rana not being a like for like for Dubey but some of the assumptions you are making off it are bad.
