PlayerComparisons

International Captain
After 205 innings sachin averaged 47.90 , barring those 3 lethal highway knocks which are harmful for test cricket,
Kohli is averaging around 46 after 215+ innings so it's really close,
I think Kohli is currently better considering his downfall AVG is around 30 in comparison to 27.7 of Sachin.
I didn’t know their averages were so close. Good to know.

Cricketer Of The Year
Even if you remove those 3 big innings, Tendulkar's average (after 205 inngs) falls from 56.3 to 52.5/53

It doesn't fall to 47.9. Some stats seem to be made out of thin air.

Two players that played in hard eras for batting
Sachin is better, but can't say anything about Kohli until he retired, because who knows he might get another Prime and can also break sachin's 51 century record like joe root,
In 2020 , everyone used to troll him , but he reached 36 from 17 in just 4 years.
