Here is the same heat-map colour coded by province (the province picking them, not who produced them).

Doesn't reveal too much. Except ND are getting old, as Howsie has posted.
Otago is a good place to get a start young, which has been the case for a long time.

Kind of crazy that Guptill and Wagner are more than 20 years older than the youngest player in Super Smash. That said, when T20 and IPL first came along there seemed to be a few guys who extended their careers well into their 40's (Warne, Hogg, Hodge) and there used to be a few in county cricket.

Apparently the day of that game at the Basin where he & Keene fired up was the 19th anniversary of Guptill's T20 debut. His teammates were all children on the day of his first T20, ranging from 13 (Solia) to 9 months (Stackpole).

Bevon Jacobs is now playing as a lower-order badonker in the ILT20 for Mumbai Indians Emirates (just for a handful of games). He's certainly shown his ability to build an innings, so it would be somewhat of a shame if this became his career.

"We go right through to the 5th of April and then I get to make a decision after that," Stead told Sport Nation's Beaver & Guy.
"But we're having talks around it."

I just threw up.

Jamieson would presumably be a likely replacement.
It's so tempting, but a guy with his injury history needs more time. I'd rather say manage your bowling loads, we have a bunch of significant Test series' coming in the next two Southern hemisphere summers that we want you cherry ripe for. We have Matt Henry who is world class, Will O'Rourke who is a handful, maybe Sears, maybe Nathan Smith etc, a fully fit and firing Jamieson makes us pretty scary (even if the RH bounce bowler type might be a bit over-represented if it's Jamieson, O'Rourke and Sears).
