There is a massive increase in Bowling standards,
1st change, 2nd change bolwers are now way better compared to 90s.
Not sure if that is true or the playing conditions and batsmen make it seem like that.

Because everyone has a different opinion. Example : Rod Laver was the best of his era. But there is no way a 5 feet 7 inch player can win even a single Slam today.
Physicality is almost unimportant for batsmen. So of the very best like Sachin, Sunny and especially Don can be described as midgets.

Because it's sort of understood there is more parity and standardization between 70s to now than 30s to now.

What you discount is the 70s cricket revolution from Chappell captaincy and WSC and the accounts from cricketers in that time how aggression and greater intensity became more or less the norm in cricket and that has stayed more or less.

You can pick instances before that of aggressive tactics or players but the norm was very much less intense and more laid-back.
Agreed. Not sure why some people are in denial about the standard of the sport being higher in the modern era. It’s just common sense lol.

Lower quality of batsmen is a big factor. Smith is the only current batsman you rate as an ATG. Previous decades usually had a few more. Many batsmen also are starting to try to score significantly quicker in the last few years so they’re not scoring as many runs as they should be.
