I'd not swap Brook for anyone but it is good to have so many good players worldwide in the same position. All can go ballistic at any time too so very entertaining.

Having now completed his batting for the SA v Pak series, his test career average stands at 52.65. His cumulative record outside of Asia is not nearly so pretty though. 21.3 from 5 matches/10 innings.

Surprised this hasn’t been updated. It stands at 50.24 after the rank turners he has played on v West Indies. He did score 84 first test but understandably struggled otherwise.

I recall one guy paying too much attention to Devon Conway about four years ago. Now he barely averages 40. Kamindu will still go well but in another few tests it will be in the fifties
