I'm mildly annoyed that Khawaja hasn't taken off his helmet, but maybe it's not a good idea for someone who (reverse) sweeps so much.
Also has to be a comfort and familiarity thing - if you rarely ever do it then it's just one more than to have to get adjusted to, unnecessarily.I'm mildly annoyed that Khawaja hasn't taken off his helmet, but maybe it's not a good idea for someone who (reverse) sweeps so much.
Haven't seen Jayasuriya turn a single one in the past few overs. This is not a a 213-2 pitch.
Yeah, but think of the aestheticAlso has to be a comfort and familiarity thing - if you rarely ever do it then it's just one more than to have to get adjusted to, unnecessarily.
He has created few chances though, which have been missed due to poor DRS decisions and shabby fieldingHaven't seen Jayasuriya turn a single one in the past few overs.
How many more times will he be dropped/not reviewed on the way, about four? The more I watch this funny great game the more I've realised not to say things like this because wickets can happen out of nowhere but Khawaja is on for 200.
Except for him clipping one straight back to the bowler earlier lolHow many more times will he be dropped/not reviewed on the way, about four?
Smith if anything looks even more ominous, he's gone at a run a ball and hasn't even looked vaguely in trouble at any point.
Honestly they really need to slow the game down here. Not just run scoring, that's obvious, but they're going through overs far too quickly to really implement any sort of structured plan.Don’t mind the seamer coming back on here for a bit - if nothing else to change it up a little. Has to bowl much better than he did earlier though
I've not watched that much. It's more judging by the fact he's rollicking along faster than usual and has so much time. Smith is a fast starter and these conditions are good for an ageing batsman. How many more times will he be dropped/not reviewed on the way, about four?

Haha this has been super not true for like five years now, ever since the 2019 Ashes he's made a habit of starting extremely slowly with only rare exceptions.Tbf I've not watched that much. I felt he's been getting slowed down after starting when up against good attacks. This isn't as good an attack especially as it's not turning sharply yet.Haha this has been super not true for like five years now, ever since the 2019 Ashes he's made a habit of starting extremely slowly with only rare exceptions.
Nah a typical Steve Smith start these days is like 15(50).I felt he's been getting slowed down after starting when up against good attacks. This isn't as good an attack especially as it's not turning sharply yet.
