Shakib Al Hasan, the Bangladesh allrounder, has been asked to undergo analysis of his bowling action by the England and Wales Cricket Board, after being reported by the umpires during his one-off appearance for Surrey in this season's County Championship.

Although to be fair, you can't have a tail that includes him, Shoriful and the Fizz.

Extended package of EbaGOAT's deliveries in the first class match. He looks down on speed, and eventually slows down to actual gentle medium pace as the package continues, and noticeably loses his action. Can't expect much more early in his comeback I suppose.

Never rated him. I think he peaked for one test only against NZ. He's like mid 135 all the time and occassionally hits 140 and besides he hardly ever extracts swing. I guess his speed will be like 132 max after full recovery with straight arrows.

Jishan Alam is making some noises in domestic circuit as the next big thing but I think hes Sabbir 2.0. He just hit a century in T20 NCL and he plays a lot like young Sabbir. Think he's gonna struggle big time with feet movement. Got strong hand eye coordination though.


Like Ariful Islam a lot better than Jishan Alam.

I was hoping bpl would be different this time. But its the same old rubbish. The quality of cricket is not there. Nahid Rana bowling is the only exciting thing in the whole bpl and they dont show the speed every delivery. What a farce.

Great that selectors finally showed some guts and dropped Shakib from Champions Trophy.

Liton should have been there despite poor form because I believe hes a big match player. One winning knock could have been handy there.

Yeah its Rajshahi owner this time. Thought we'd see some better management regarding bpl as papon gone but it seems like the plague is still there. The bpl is absolutely more rubbish this time than previous editions. Very sad to see. Now some spot fixing allegations popping up but not proved yet (under investigation).
