That's just being salty really. No one but the English thinks fast scoring is important to preserve the "dying game"
I'm not salty, I simply feel like your measure for WSC kinda disqualifies a lot of Cricket to be considered in comparisons.

And @Johan why the **** you changed your pfp 15 times in 3 minutes??? Especially all WWE characters!!! Is it just out of spite????

Wait a minute, a big showy spectacle, WWE fan..... It's all making sense now!!!
I'm a perfectionist, I take longer than women to get dressed, so it makes sense I try 15 pfps before I find one that works.

plus, I genuinely think WSC is very legit.

Not rating WSC as test should not be very controversial imo. It's not that Luffy ignores WSC as a whole. He counts it, just doesn't give the same weightage as tests, which is completely fair.

Yeah but I rate it as relevant as tests and that shouldn't be an unfair or outrageous stance either.

Yeah fair. I pretty much stand between you and Luffy on WSC. I probably give WSC more weightage than Luffy, but probably not as much as you do.

Look, I will again say, if the comparison was vs Lillee, I would give total weight to WSC runs Viv scored vs him. I just don't think they are literally equivalent to Tests. Many FC games also have Great attacks, we seldom dig up and rate every single one for each player. I don't think WSC is like an average FC game, but it's a FC game. It really irks me when people argues that (and I kid you not) WSC was superior to Tests.....

WSC was a fanfare. The cricketers were paid to perform first and foremost.
It had a greater intensity than cricket anywhere at the time by their reports.

You can make a case it shouldn't be considered exactly as tests but shouldn't be rated below them IMo

Also by reports of that time players didn't gave 100% always there.
Also like, having the most intensity is the definition of fanfare?? Who would watch a boring game???

Rating it the same level as tests should also be fair. Folks here are seriously underestimating the folksy nature of cricket before the 70s revolution came.
