Probably because I post there. Speaking of Pools fans it looks like GM#1Fan is banned as well. They must be trying to take us all.down.
It’s a strange tactic though, given how important clicks and hits are to them, that they’d remove the posters who create the most genuine content. I mean it’s one thing to copy and paste links, but actual discussion that goes back and forth for hours/days/weeks is always worth more than soulless linking of other people’s content.

Afternoon folks.

Dead as owt over there on the cricket threads today. 11 posts since midnight and six of those are in the match thread for tomorrow.

Bizarrely Keith is posting BBL stuff in the England match thread. Maybe the bot will hive him a warning :D

How come Carty is International skipper with Aidan as
his sidekick 🤔 Meanwhile me and Brando get to mix with the Universally Challenged at the slap n tickle nights 🤔

Mine is a slight variation as it reveals who the lovely chap is who Lord Ottis is celebrating taking the wicket of ....as if we didn't know.
Did KP have a red phone when he was grassing on Strauss 🤔

How many know your NLZ name though 🤔 😄 My tag is a throwback to my late dad's background while I've also used Hamsteels and Over The Beck on NLZ , Birth place is the site of Hargreaves Transport 👍
I had two 😉

What’s the Poolie forum you all speak of? Feel like I’m missing out 😂

I see they've now merged my third thread with first thread relating to general discussion of Durham. The original two threads should have been merged in the first place.

I bet it wasn't turbo who merged them. It will have been one of the other mods realising they just needed merging.

I notice Chunky is asking whether I’ve been permabanned given they’ve removed my Avatar from the site.

Have we been able to prove if Gordo has gone too?

I know he's banned as I can't tag him. Not sure how long. Given that they are shutting up shop at the end of March it's likely that anyone with a ban won't get back on there. I've decided not to post on there at present. Maybe forever.

Do we really believe it’s going to be total shutdown at the end of March? It would be a genuine shame because there are some absolute top human beings on there. I can honestly say I’ve had hours and hours of fantastic cricket discussion and debate on there.

I think it’s absolutely hilarious if that’s me done for good though, there have been many times in the past where I’ve genuinely crossed the line with regards to chewing on with people and using language I shouldn’t which resulted in getting banned for good reason. BUT, this latest one was a complete joke. I simply asked a question as to the legitimacy of the Aggregator and defended myself to Ian J when he tried his third pile-on of the week and before he could reply I was gone (and so was the post). Three months for a question 🤣

No abuse, no nastiness.

It’s such a shame the mods are so petrified of transparency and any form of scrutiny.

The mad thing is, if they’re so desperate for hits/clicks that they need to create a being to turbopost and bump old threads - I’m fairly certain the loyal band of genuine cricket followers amongst us would be more than happy to help increase the content. The difference being, the content we would create would actually be of interest and would gain genuine traffic rather than forced.

They’ve spoiled themselves. Had their cake and smeared it all over their own faces, because I know several decent long serving posters who have either left completely or who’ve withdrawn their contributions from the forum as a direct consequence of the beast they created. They wanted more traffic and instead they’ve driven people away.

It’s a crying shame.

The strange thing is though, that message board seems to be the only one closing down. All the others aren't bothered.

I think the admin there are overreacting. I'm hoping they do a u turn but they are crapping themselves in case some wokester takes.offence at a post and reports it.

More chance of a right-wingnut reporting it, why do you think I keep getting banned?! 😜
