But my point being Hobbs easily the best and the rest 3 closer definitely stands.

fwiw.. I have Sutcliffe, Hutton and Gavaskar all ranked consecutively amongst batsmen. I don’t think there’s much difference at all between them, and anyone who is picking any of the three isn’t losing or gaining much at all.

Hobbs is therefore obviously the difference maker for me in this poll.
