What's your opinion on Grace in AT England XI??

I don’t have him in my Xi. I leave him from these ATG test stuffs. You already have Hobbs, Hutton/ Sutcliffe opening and a stacked middle order.

I generally include him. I mean, either he is top 2 (at worst 3) from England or you don't rate him. The fact that he had the workload of a frontline bowler, makes it even better for me.

I would put him in an all cricket Xi. Not test. Mainly because I find it too hard to judge, going all the way back and comparing to other countries Xi. Test cricket ofc started after his peak and all. I amn’t gonna bother having him in the Xi given England already have ridiculous batting talent. Greatest Cricketer to come out from England and top 5 cricketer of all time.

I think there is great validity in only rating players you have seen. Also, too many people swoon over stats which hold considerable, but not absolute,value.
