Waqar away against non-minnow teams during his full career: 139 wickets - Avg 29

Since SL was non-minnows after 1985, 11 more wickets agaisnt SL makes it 150 away test wickets agaisnt non-minnow at avg of 28-29.

Waqar against non-minnow away: 150 test wickets with Avg of 28-29.

I wouldn;t be really cirting 211 wickets and Avg of 26. Some play veyr little away games agaainst minnow and some have played zero. Count only non-minnow teams to do apple to apple comparisons. Waqar reord is not good enough to be comapred withBumrah and many other greats. 211 wickets does nothing for Waqar when being compared to tier 1 pacers.
His S/R also jumps from 43 to 53.

Lol!
Wasim Akram was a dream cricketer. A magic cricketer, like Warne or Marshall.

Bumrah is a pragmatism cricketer. If both Wasim Akram and Bumrah were footballers, Akram would be Iniesta, Zidane or Messi, whereas Bumrah would be Andy Carroll, John Terry or Darren Bent.
Bumrah has pragmatism flowing through his veins.
When did he start to hit the deck hard?

I Just want Bumrah to enter that 200 Wickets Club as he did not take many wickets at home 🏠 - 42 Wickets

42 wickets in one country(even if it’s Ind) is good enough
I am Speaking about his Away Record. If Bumrah Breaks the Away Record of Imran Khan’s 199 Wickets to me he will be the Best Bowler to emerge from Sub-Continent. Provided if he maintains a good average better than Wasim, Waqar and Imran.

Bumrah has enough away wickets already.
200 away wickets is a lot.

Lillee has 154.
Donald has 153.
Bumrah has 158.
Holding has 163.
Steyn has 164.
Pollock has 186.
Imran has 199.

Among ATG bowlers only Marshall, McGrath, Hadlee, Akram & Ambrose have 200+ away wickets.

That’s because Bumrah did not take many wickets in India unlike these ATG Bowlers. Quantity and Quality both are Important.

In the following WTC cycle IND play these 6 test series:
5 vs AUS (home)
2 vs SA (home)
2 vs WI (home)
5 vs ENG (away)
2 vs NZ (away)
2 vs SL (away)

It's a chance for him to improve his records in ENG and NZ, play in SL finally and add more home wkts to his tally.
Bumrah playing 15/18 of these tests, picking 67 wkts @21 (4.5 WPM) should be good enough

Low sample size imo. Numbers are level of difficulty 1-5 right?

If he plays in the same way he did this year and improves his record in NZ, he has a good shot at being the best ever

Bumrah has more wickets in India than Marshall, Hadlee, McGrath, Steyn, Donald, Ambrose, Imran, Lillee, Garner, Akram, Holding, Roberts, Pollock etc
Home Record I mean, all these bowlers took more wickets than Bumrah in their Home Countries. By the Time Bumrah Retires he Should have taken more than 100 Wickets in India 🇮🇳 and 200 Wickets Away to make his case Strong 💪 as an All Time Great. 300 Wickets with 200 Wickets Outside India 🇮🇳 is a Great Achievement.

Test cricket for the prestige and ipl for money
He should concentrate on those two things alone
He would be very wealthy and have great legacy too
