Yeah think Lee is better with the red ball, almost the same numbers while bowling in a way tougher era against (imp) better batters.
What are Cummins and Hazelwood stats with pink ball? If they have not done that well with pink ball, Starc deserves a bit of credit for destroying teams with pink ball.

Bazball did nothing, an ATG bat in Joe Root and a dude going through the purple patch of his life in Johnny Bairstow did it, iirc in that match Bumrah in first inning reduced England to 44-3 and took 3 wickets, and then in second inning he also had taken two wkts, Root and Johnny Bairstow just got going and Bumrah got taken apart. Remember, just few months ago Jayden Seales and Asitha Fernando found success in England.
Bairstow was dropped by hanuma vihari when he was on 35. Had he taken that catch we would have had series win

Disagree with the take on Hazlewood.
He is following the McGrath footsteps.
McGrath after 272 wickets was Averaging 22.7
Hazlewood now averaging 24.5 ,
He is the 2nd best bowler of WTC history after bumrah.
In WTC history
2nd best economy 2.76 after Anderson (2.61)
3rd best strike rates 45 after bumrahs 39 and rabada's 41.
2nd best 20.3 average after bumrahs 19.
Kyle Jamieson is the best (or 2nd best) bowler in WTC history
Economy 2.65
Strike rate 43
Average 19.03
Motm inaugural WTC final
Found out how to conquer Kohli so other bowlers copied

Include Warne/Lyon, it becomes one sided.

Without them, I will go marginally with McGrath, Gillespie and Lee.

Mcgrath tilted it for me.

Wiser thing is to wait till the current trio finish up who knows Cummins will get closer to McGrath by then. Its also worth pointing out that McGrath/Gillespie/Lee didn't form a full attack all that often. Think they played together vs SA home and away back in 02 and then the WI tour the year later. Don't think they played together again till 05 ashes when Lee returned to the side but Gillespie dropped out midway through that series. Best working attacks aus had at that period included Kasprowicz in Lees expense

Current trio has been bowling together since 17/18
