My second XI for instance

Still leaving top level greats like Ambrose, Lillee, Chappell, Headley, O'Reilly

How to say Barry Richards is the greatest Test opener ever, without actually saying it 😆
Not what I was trying to say, and I do rate Hutton and Hobbs over him.

You may not agree with all of the players in my XI, but there's legitimate reasons being all of them.

Barry like Wasim is there because he has the quality, but also special attributes and abilities that no one else has.

Unless you're not counting current players, Tom Bruce and Dane Cleaver (both very unlikely to get a test cap at this point) should replace Briasco and Nevin.

Tommy Kelaart is definitely the best player in there (maybe except 2 South Africans and an Englishman)

Joe Misso has scored the most number of centuries in Grade cricket (312). Played Club cricket in England and has around 150 centuries in SL as well. Had forgotton about him completely.
Higgins is still active and can technically pick a cap.
