That is a pretty good side for Dubai especially. Ideally, in future if we have Jaiswal and Tilak replace Rohit and Virat, we will have the required left/right balance as well but this is pretty good. I suppose they may not play one of the seamers and play the additional fingerspinner which lengthens the batting if conditions dictate as well.

Axar, Washy, Rahul and Jaiswal is a bloody strong bench group.

Unfortunately it just feels like the 2011 teams we sent to Australia. On paper it looks the strongest ever we could have had but almost all the key batters are past it and the bowlers are battling fitness issues.

For god sake hope bumarh doesn't play. We need him in england. Anyway even without boom india are a very good whiteball team so wont be surprised if we do end up winning the cup

Yeah I don't want Bumrah to play even if there's a slight risk. I hope he skips CT and like half of IPL. Only come back when fully fit.

Jaiswal for Gill and would prefer a batting option at 8 as Hardik and Jadeja are in top 7. Also add to that don't want Bumrah to play and think 4 pacers in UAE is redundant, so will take Washington/Axar for Bumrah.

India seems a lock, then it's wide open. Pakistan are going well in ODIs.
